I have to say, Photoshop pen tool is really a very powerful tool, because it can be used to create pictures of lifelike images. Today's small series to share with you is to use PS to draw a realistic USB cable tutorial.

1th Step

Open a new document 1000x1000 Pixel, resolution: at the DPI. This document will use about 60 floors. Organization is the key. I've created 4 folders to organize my layers. See the picture below.

2nd Step

Draw the shape using the Pen tool (P). Create new layers, each part of the drawing.

3rd Step

Use the numbers listed in the Layer Style section below.

4th step

Copy this layer style to apply to the other 3 drawing layers. For each layer, you will need to change the angle of the gradient overlay, Shape 2, use the angle of 59 degrees, 3 and 4 of the shapes, using the angle of-51 degrees. The finished effect is as follows.

5th step

Now, create the inside of the head. Also, use the Pen tool. See the picture below.

6th step

A detailed USB cable header. CMD + click the drawing area of the layer thumbnail 1 (see step 2) to edit > stroke, Width-3PX, color-white, center position. Now go to filter > Blur > Gaussian blur, Radius 0.6px. With the Eraser tool (E), brush size 100, opacity 50%, flow is 100%. See the picture below.

7th step

Again the pen tool draws a shape like this below. Then apply the following layer style.

8th Step

The pen tool creates a shape like this, and if you face problems creating the right shape, you can also use the Add Anchor Point tool and the direct selection tool to adjust. You can also use this rounded Rectangle tool (U), after you create the shape, press CMD + t to transform it. Once done this applies to the following layer styles.

9th step

CMD + Click the layer thumbnail we just created. Create a new layer, go to select > Modify > Shrink by 1px contract. White fills it. Now, follow the layer style. See the picture below.

10th Step

Create a new folder named "header," as I described earlier in step 1 and all layers of the place. Now create a new layer under the Headers folder. The shapes created by the Pen tool are shown in the following illustration. Create a new layer that is part of each graphic.

11th Step

Copy the layer style and paste it into another section to change the gradient overlay angle. "Part 2nd" uses the "3rd part" to change the angle to 35 degrees, using a 13 degree angle.

12th Step

Now is the time to add some line of "body" to the side. Create a new layer, named "line." Then, create multiple copies, as shown below.

13th step

After you create a copy of the line, select all the line layers and press CMD + E to merge the layers. CMD + click on the layer thumbnail "line" to make your selections. Create a new layer and fill the selection with white.

14th Step

Using the Rounded Rectangle tool, create a shape like the following description and follow the instructions.

15th step

Add more details to the "body". Use the Elliptical Marquee tool (M) to create a shape like the one described below, and then the layer style.

16th step

With the Pen tool, create a shape (as described below), and then follow the instructions.

17th Step

"Body" area to add some highlights. To do this, you can draw the shape with the pen tool and add a Gaussian blur.

18th Step

Now create "head wire, wire, connecting the head of the wire." For this, use the Pen tool and follow the instructions below.

19th Step

Add some details to the line layer, create a new layer, CMD + click the layer thumbnail of the line, fill the selection with white, take the eraser tool, brush size 35px (use soft brush), opacity 50%, and then follow the instructions below.

20th Step

The pen tool creates the shape again as shown in the following figure.

21st Step

This section adds some highlights.

22nd Step

Using the method we have shown previously created "Back" objects.

23rd step

Let's add some finishing touches. In addition to the background layer of the USB cable Select all layers, right click > copy. Now, merge all the layers to repeat. This layer is dragged to the top, CMD + click on the layer thumbnail to select, fill in black, go to filter > Noise > Add noise, Quantity 23.62%, Gaussian distribution and monochrome. Change the layer blending mode to overlay and opacity to 10%.
