Because Popo cannot be used in Linux, the simulation results with wine are too bad, and there are always errors and they are almost useless. Therefore, I finally decided to get a Windows on Linux, find a circle, and finally find a mini version of Win98 plus 2, only 70 m after installation, qemu runs stably. But it is also very troublesome to install it from the beginning. The Win98 plus 2 I downloaded is a ghost file, and it is damaged. It is hard to restore and install it. Therefore, I put a tar package on the mounted image file. Because qemu devices are the same. All drivers have been installed in this image. Therefore, after downloading and decompressing it, you can run it on qemu.
In addition to the small software included in Win98 plus 2, I only installed the qemu device driver and an opera 8.5 browser. You can install other software by downloading it online. I think that without a browser, I can't download things online, and it is inconvenient to install the software, so I installed opera. If you don't like it, just uninstall it.
It is also convenient to start it with qemu. You only need one command:
Qemu-hda win98.img-M 256-localtime-enable-audio-user-Net
: Win98.tar.gz
System:
