Is there a situation on your computer that says:
Suddenly one day, I go to see the previous saved html/htm format of the page, found that the icon has become blank, into an executable file icon style, but double-click or open with IE, but looked very awkward.
Solution:
This phenomenon is not caused by viruses because the format of the html/htm chart in registry [regedit] has been changed. There are a number of reasons for this change, one of the most likely reasons is that you have installed multiple browsers, such as Foxfire, roaming, and so on, and then deleted, but because the registry has changed the format of the icon to its browser open format, can not find the browser, the icon will naturally become blank.
Repair:
Enter registry: Start-run-regedit
hkey_local_mechine/software/classes/.html Change (default) value to Htmlfile
Hkey_local_mechine/software/classes/.htm Change (default) value to Htmlfile
Close the registry and refresh your html/htm icon to see how it works. ~ ~
