Through recent studies, I finally have some new understanding of the DNS problem in active Directory, and now I would like to share with you our learning experience!
All of us should know that in a domain environment, users and computers locate the DC (domain control) domain controller through the SRV records in DNS, if the DNS server fails, (set up on a stand-alone server or with a DC when the DC is not discussed), Many of us will think that this SRV record is not, what to do, is not the new DNS server is to write the SRV record Ah! (This needs to be familiar with the area data file!) Actually, I was thinking the same thing at first, but where does the SRV record data from DNS in the domain environment come from? Loaded from the Active Directory! Because of this, our work system only needs to reload again!
OK, now we're going to do a simple experiment to verify the above statement:
Experimental layout:
Florence do domain controller and DNS server IP address 192.168.18.1,berlin do client
IP address is 192.168.18.12 Two machines are Windows Server 2003 operating system
We simulate DNS failure when we create the domain!
Experimental process:
One, Florence is upgraded to a domain controller DC,
1. Enter dcpromo in "Start"-"Run"
The welcome interface for the Setup wizard appears
Prompts the operating system to be incompatible with previous versions
