RedHat AS4 UP7 (64-bit) Installation of Oracle 10 Gb Single Instance

1. Oracle Installation Requirements
Database Installation Requirements:
Database Installation requirements are as follows:

1. Currently, it is installed on a file system.
2. Install oracle. The default user password is oracle.
3. Database sid: taac
4. The installed database character set is: GBK-16-bit Simplified Chinese
5. Default Sga size
6. The default size and number of log files, control files, and rollback.
7. The user tablespace is created by development.
8. Create a database data file to/opt/oacle/oradata.
9. Create a user taac and grant the resource, connect, and dba permissions.

In addition, there are no other special requirements for database creation.

2. Prepare the oracle Installation host

Memory check
Check memory space

Check that the physical memory usage is normal.

Swap space check

Add group and user
The oralce user on this machine already exists.
You do not need to add it after viewing it.

Create an oracle Installation File address
Create a new/opt/oracle/product file and grant the following permissions:

# Mkdir-p/opt/oracle/oradata
# Chown-R oracle: dba/opt/oracle
# Chmod-R 775/opt/oracle

Set oracle user session restrictions
Add/etc/security/limits. conf

Add/etc/pam. d/login
Session required pam_limits.so
