Regarding the differences between Fusion OBIA and otbi data Analysis methods,
Oracle Fusion data analysis can be divided into two forms:
1. OBIA
This type of Fusion is similar to EBS and PSFT. It requires Fusion DB to extract, transfer, and load data to DWH through the ETL process. To display big data in BI Answers, you need to convert the data in DW to the BI Server through the Common Semantic Model.
Fusion DB --> ETL --> DW --> Common Semantic Model --> BI Server --> BI Answers
For obia dbdiff and SATA Data analysis, we need to use the two tables Financial Analytics Data Lineage (Fusion) and OTBI_VO_Source Details. Financial Analytics Data Lineage (Fusion) Table stores presentation layer [BI Answers] (PRESENTATION_CATALOG-PRESENTATION_TABLE_NAME-PRESENTATION_COLUMN_NAME) Data, logical layer [BI Server] (LOGICAL_TABLE_NAME-LOGICAL_COLUMN_NAME ), physical Layer [DW] (PHYSICAL_TABLE-PHYSICAL_COLUMN), data source [db vo object] (SOURCE_MODEL-SOURCE_TABLE-SOURCE_COLUMN ). Through the stored data, we can query the relationship between various points. To query the original DB table, use the table OTBI_VO_Source Details to match the original DB table by obtaining the VO object. The original DB table is stored in the OTBI_VO_Source Details table.
2, OTBI
This type of Fusion does not have an ETL process. The Fusion data source is directly associated with BI and is converted to BI Server by using the Common Semantic Model.
Fusion DB --> Common Semantic Model --> BI Server --> BI Answers
For otbi sata data analysis (only SATA), we need to use the OTBI_VO_Source Details table. This table stores the VO object (VO_NAME-VO_FULL_NAME-VO_COLUMN_NAME) and displays the data in the [BI Answers] (PRESENTATION_CATALOG-PRESENTATION_TABLE_NAME-PRESENTATION_COLUMN_NAME) layer, data source [DB original table] (SOURCE_TABLE_NAME-SOURCE_COLUMN_NAME ). Through the corresponding relationship, we can get the corresponding original table through the known display layer content, view the data in the original table, and analyze whether the bug or benchmark is not updated.
You can also use BI Analytics to input the Logical SQL to be tested to BI Answers and wait for the result. In another browser, log on to Analytics as an administrator and click Administration, manage Sessions: view the SQL Execution logs of various users. The corresponding VO objects can be found in the logs and the original tables of the corresponding data can be queried in the OTBI_VO_Source Details table through the VO object.
