Rifidi is a RFID software company pramari launched an Open Source middleware platform, its home page is: http://www.rifidi.org/

 

It is divided into three parts: Edge server, workbench, and prototyper. It is easy to install and deploy, and provides installation files in the EXE and bin formats for Windows and Linux platforms respectively. After the installation, you can use it. Edge server and workbench are packaged in an installation file. After the installation is complete, you will see two directories, client and server, respectively. The server directory is the directory of Edge server, the client is the workbench directory.

 

In Linux, you must grant the following permissions before running the Edge server program:

Sudo chmod + x rifle idiserver
./Rifle idiserver

This is also true for workbench.

 

Edge server provides a remote command line connection mode. You need to add the-Console port parameter in the Command running Edge server, such as-console 2020. In this way, you can use Telnet IP 2020 for connection and control. To disable the remote command line, enter the exit command. If you close the command line window directly, the server session will not be closed.

 

 

In addition, after the installation is complete, the default service address is local (127.0.0.1). If you need to work on multiple hosts, You need to modify the configuration. Edge server configuration in the server directory, you can change all IP addresses to the network address of the machine.
