Pre-loading images
The pre-loading image action will not load the image on the Web page immediately, such as those that will be swapped through the behavior or JavaScript, into the browser cache. This prevents delays when the image should appear due to downloading.
Note: The Swap image action automatically loads all highlighted images when you select the Pre-load image option in the Swap Image dialog box, so you do not need to manually add a preloaded image when you use swap images.
To use the pre-loading image in the specific steps:
Insert an object, select the object, open the Behaviors panel, and select pre-loading images from actions.
(larger picture, please pull the scroll bar to watch)
Click Browse to select the image file to be preloaded, or enter the path and file name of the image in the image source file text box.
Click the plus (+) button at the top of the dialog box to add the image to the pre-loading images list.
To remove an image from the pre-loading images list, select the image in the list, and then click the Minus (-) button.
Click OK and click F12 Preview.
Don't forget we are studying! Open the appropriate code view to see the new code in the file, so we can be familiar with the code AH!
