Row indicates a quarrel.

I saw a piece of news today:

A German shot two Italians in a pub on Monday, killing one and leave the other fighting for his life, after a row about the past cup performance of their respective teams.

I don't know what the meaning of row is here. I only know that there is a "quarrel, noisy" in row when I look up the dictionary"
