Rsync synchronization prompts name lookup failed for x. x No address associated with hostname

In the system log, check that the error message is

18:06:55 [4696] name lookup failed for 212.173.9.32: No address associated with hostname

The solution is that the access IP address is not set in the main rsync configuration file, so access is rejected.

Find the rsyncd. conf file in your installation directory.

Hosts allow = your IP address.

Then save it.

To sum up, we have been doing this for a day. One is that the firewall has defended against the specified port, and the other is that the IP address is not added to rsyncd. conf.
