When editing a long Word document, you may need to change the title of all the chapters in the document that have been unified as "3" to ". How can we quickly and accurately search and replace so many text formats?
The following describes two methods to share with you. Word2010 is used as an example. For other versions, refer to the procedure.
I. Replacement method
1. Open the required Word documents.
2. In the edit Group on the Start tab, click replace ".
3. If the "format" button is not displayed, click "More.
4. click the "search content" box, confirm that the content is empty, click the "format" button, and then click "font". In the "font" dialog box, in the Chinese font box, click "", click "3" in the "font size" box, and click "OK.
5. click "replace with", confirm that the content is empty, and then click "format", and then click "font". In the "font" dialog box, in the "Chinese font" box, click "", click "bold" in the "font" box, click "small 3" in the "font size" box, and click "OK.
6. Click "replace all.
At this point, the title of Chapter 3 in the document is changed to the and displayed in bold. To replace text with the same format, enter the required text in the "search content" box and "replace with" box.
II. Selection method
1. Open the required Word documents and move the insertion point to the title of a section in the document with the 3 character.
2. in the "edit" group on the "start" tab, click "select", and then click "select all text in similar formats ", the title of all the section marked with "3" in the document is selected.
3. in the "font" group on the "start" tab, click "" "in the" font "box ", in the font size box, click "small 3" and click the "bold" button to display the pressed status.
Compared with the replacement method, the selection method is simpler, but the text cannot be changed while the format is changed. You can choose to use the above two methods based on your actual situation and preferences.
