Cloth Research (1)--Persian carpets
is random and orderly the two opposite concepts? This is two extremes, but very close. Repeated and reasonable use, can create an incredible texture effect.
Well, we'll make a rug, and you'll probably understand what I'm saying, haha.
1. Create a new file, 50x50pixel.
2. Select Menu Filter->noise->add noise,amount=300, Gaussian, do not select Mono item.
3. New 100x100pixel file, the first file copy to the new file, with my second tutorial in the staggered-stitching system to make a seamless diagram, the results are shown in Figure I. As you can see, the patterns are random, but the threads that come up along the seams are orderly.
4. Select Menu Filter->blur->gaussian blur, the number is 0.6.
5. Select Menu Select->all all files.
6. Select Menu Edit->define Patten, define the pattern.
7. New file, size for 400x600, this will be the last carpet.
8. Select Menu Edit->fill, fill the file with Patten, what do you see? A nice piece of carpet.
If you think the color is not strong enough, copy the background layer and change the new layer pattern into multiply. The final results are shown in Figure Ii.
Want more patterns? Select the new layer, select the menu filter->other->offset, casually fill in some numbers, select wrap around items, you will get endless changes in the carpet texture.
Rest, rest! See you next time!
