Git is a distributed version control system, this article describes how to use Git to manage GitHub software projects under Mac.
1. Register your GitHub account
2. After registering to enter the homepage, select the upper right corner of the page +:new repository
3. Fill in the Repository name,description and select the Init Readme file to create it.
4. At this time the interface, I think everyone should be very familiar with. Click the Clipboard icon in the right column to record your project address.
5. Open terminal, enter Git clone < address of the item copied above >
6. Copy all files and folders from the downloaded project folder, including the. git folder, to the root directory of your managed project (or copy your managed project to the directory)
CD test
Enter the root directory of the managed project.
7. Enter git Add.
Add changes to the version manager
8. Enter git commit-m "Changes log"
Submitted to the local version control repository, the quotation marks are your instructions for this submission.
9. Last input Git push-u origin master
By submitting your local repository to your GitHub account, you will be asked to enter your GitHub account number and password.
10. Go back to the project page in your github.com, at which point the GitHub project has been successfully updated.
