Solve cognos connection failure with remote db2 database as Data Source

The problem occurs when the remote db2 is used to create a data source and the test connection fails. Many people say that it is a driver problem. Copy db2cc. jar to a lib directory, and the experiment fails;

 

When I saw a buddy's blog, I finally mentioned that the database needs to be catalog locally. So I studied it and used two lines of commands:

Catalog tcpip node node_name remote remote_ip server server_port

 

At this time, the catalog is added to the node;

 

Duplicate node names are not allowed. You can run the following command to view existing node names:

List node directory

 

Step 2: catalog Database:

Catalog db db_name at node node_name
