It used to be run using Redmine directly at the beginning of the Webrick server, and later, in order to improve performance, the use of Nginx+passenger to drive Redmine, the access speed is much faster, but when new problems or update problems become very slow, I thought it was not configured well, and then searched the Internet, and found that it was mentioned because the message was sent when a new issue and update problem occurred, and it was synchronized, that is, it will not be returned until the message is sent successfully. It really dawned on me, so I found a solution to change the way the message was sent to an asynchronous operation:
1. Enter the config directory under the Redmine directory;
2. Editor Configuration.yml;
3. Locate Delivery_method:: SMTP, Change SMTP to ASYNC_SMTP, save exit;
4. Restart the Nginx service;
After completing the above steps, reopen the Redmine, create a new problem and edit the issue after the submission of the swish came out
