Today, two computers (one win7 and one Win8) have problems with IE, which cannot be opened either by clicking or double-clicking IE, and cannot be fixed or reinstalled. However, it is normal to use the right-click administrator in Windows 7. Recall that editplus was installed on both computers, so editplus was uninstalled, but the problem still persists. I suddenly thought that it was normal to use the right-click administrator in Windows 7 to open IE, so I thought of permission issues. Open the registry and locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ main, right-click main> permission, and find that the group and user name only have System and administrators. Then, add the current user and assign full control permissions. Then, return to the desktop and double-click IE.
In summary, it turns out that editplus has modified the user permissions of IE, and thus ie cannot be opened.
