Taking a 24-core optical fiber cable as an example, if the splitter is installed in the data center, the 24-core optical fiber cable is only used for connection between the data center and the user allocation box, only 24 users can be activated. 2. IDC Site Selection

In a pure FTTH project, a maximum of one data center may be required. Because the construction of the IDC involves power acquisition, management, operation, backup power supply, air conditioning, etc., it will greatly increase the construction cost and operation cost. Generally, the carrier will not set up an FTTH data center in any residential area, unless the nearby data center is too far away from the user. Currently, carriers usually have a maximum of optical distribution boxes or optical cable head boxes installed in residential areas.

3. Centralized optical splitting

Operators usually perform concentrated optical splitting in areas close to users. This protects your investment and allows you to resize the splitter based on your activation. In other words, you can buy less Optical Splitter when there are few users in the early stage. As the number of users is activated, the number of Optical splitter will gradually increase. 4. Reduce the types of Optical Cables
