Step 1:
Install the Perl, GCC, and kernel-devel packages when installing VMware Tools.
Yum install Perl GCC kernel-devel
Solve this problem:
Detected GCC binary at "/usr/bin/GCC ".
The path "/usr/bin/GCC" appears to be a valid path to the GCC binary.

Three statements are required:
Yum install kernel-devel * rpm-y
Yum install GCC * rpm-y -- nogpgcheck
Yum install kernel-header * rpm-y -- nogpgcheck
Step 2:
1. Create a CD-ROM mount point in Linux Guest OS and execute mkdir/mnt/CDROM
2. Mount the CD-ROM and run Mount/dev/CDROM/mnt/CDROM
3. # cd/mnt/CDROM
# Ls-l
There are two files:
VMwareTools-5.5.1-19175.i386.rpm
VMwareTools-5.5.1-19175.tar.gz
And copy the two files to your file, such as/tmp.
# Cp VMwareTools-5.5.1-19175.tar.gz/tmp.
# Cp VMwareTools-5.5.1-19175.i386.rpm/tmp.
# Cd/tmp
# Rpm-IVH VMwareTools-5.5.1-19175.i386.rpm
4. After the above operation is complete, enter the/usr/bin directory, find the vmware-config-tools.pl. Find it and run it.
5. Press ENTER

# Tar-xzvf VMwareTools-5.5.1-19175.tar.gz
# Cd vmware-tools-distrib
#./Vmware-install.pl
Step 3:
Tar-xzvf explanation
-X: Extract
-Z: gzip attribute available
-V: displays all processes.
-F: The file name can only be placed on the last parameter, followed by the file name
