Edit multiple quicktest (r) pro tests and actions at once
We all know that qtp can open multiple function libraries, but qtp users have a very large limit when editing a single script, that is, they cannot open two tests for editing at the same time.
Test Design Studio does not have such restrictions. You can open multiple test scripts or even open multiple text files at any time.
Open Multiple Tests
It is easy to open multi-script tests. You only need to select file --> open --> file... from the menu .... 'Open the script file you want to edit. You can also repeat the above steps to open multiple, showing the function diagrams of opening two tests at the same time. "Calctest" and "Test2"
By selecting different tabs, you can easily switch between two opened tests. If you want to view the content of both scripts at the same time, it is also difficult to change test design studio, it provides the ability to split the display text interface. You only need to click window --> new horizontal tab group or new vertical tab group in the menu.
For example, we have created a new Vertical Split interface, which is very efficient for broadband users.
You can create three, four, and five (or even more) tab sets. After creating a tab, you can easily drag and drop the tab to switch the location.
Multiple actions
TDS 2.0 provides the ability to view the script actions. You can switch to the specific action on the top, but you can only view one action at the same time. In test design studio3.0, you can directly click window --> New window in the menu
After you click it, the current Script View will automatically copy two text display forms of the same file. The title bar of each text form will include: 1 or: the suffix 2 allows you to identify which test is used. Once the replication is successful, you can switch between different actions and display the same action at will, as shown in
New Feature: Test Design Studio 3
In addition, tds3 also provides a separate text View window that can be separated from the primary ide. This allows you to develop automated test scripts more efficiently for Multiple display users.
