Example:You cannot send or receive faxes. The screen displays "no response ".
Original cause:Parallel transmission affects the stability of fax signals.
The solution is as follows:
1. Check whether the operation for sending and receiving faxes is correct. Click here to query.
2. Check whether the connection between the telephone LINE and the machine is plugged in. The main LINE is LINE and the extension is EXT.
3. Check whether one party cannot fax or multiple parties can. If either party is not allowed, ask the other party to check whether the fax status of the machine is normal. If not, continue with the following steps.
4. Check whether the telephone line is connected to other devices (such as broadband, ip phone box, telephone box, or group phone number ). If these devices are connected, stable sending and receiving of signals and faxes cannot be ensured. We recommend that you change the line connection.
5. If the above operation still cannot be solved, try to reduce the fax speed. The setting method is as follows:
1. Choose menu, #, 1, 9, 3, and 4 on the control panel ].
2. When "Ready to Copy 100% 01" is displayed on the screen, press the "Menu" key on the control panel.
3. When Tech Menu is displayed on the screen, press OK.
4. Press the right arrow on the control panel to find Data Setup, and then press OK.
5. Press the right arrow on the control panel to find Modem Speed, and then press OK.
6. Press the right arrow on the control panel to find 14.4, and then press OK.
7. press the return key on the control panel to go to the standby state. Then, press menu, #, 1, 9, 3, and 4 ], then you can restore to the ready mode, and try the fax operation again.
If the problem cannot be solved after the above operations are completed, it is recommended to try another phone number line.
