Why does a slide have a file double click to open, some not open? Why some call PPT and some called PPS, what is the difference between them? The following small series for you to introduce the difference between two kinds:
Both the PPT and PPS formats are the files that are produced by the slide (Microsoft Office PowerPoint) program that we usually call.
PowerPoint is a slide file, and if you don't have a PowerPoint program installed on your computer, or if you have a low version of your program, you can't double-click it to open it. Install a PowerPoint program, double-click the ppt file directly into the editing window, you can edit and play.
PPS is an autorun slide file that does not require other programs to open, and double-clicking the PPS file directly opens playback without directly entering the editing window.
When you make a PowerPoint application, the default save mode is PPT format. If you select "PowerPoint Show" in save mode, save it as a PPS file.
PPS files can also be converted to PPT files.
Method One, directly modify the filename suffix extension;
Method Two, when PowerPoint is open, File/save Select "PPT".
