The Excel web will add new features

Microsoft's Office Web Apps is a cloud-based office suite that allows you to achieve office requirements by consolidating Office Web apps in SkyDrive when users cannot use Office client programs.

This week, the official Office blog released an introduction to the new features that Excel Web apps are about to add. If you often use Excel, you may wish to focus on the new features that are coming.

Most of these upcoming new features come from user feedback requirements. (If you have your own request to submit to Microsoft, you can do so through this official investigation.) The following are the new features that Excel Web apps will add:

Add and edit frozen panes

Add and edit comments

Support Android Tablet

Edit a file with VBA

Chart editing

View, move, and resize shape

Loading xls files in Office365

Print to PDF

WebService function

Support for common keyboard shortcuts

Custom sort Ranges

Insert Picture

Hide/Show rows and columns

Reorder Worksheets

Display the selected range of functions in the status bar

Rename a spreadsheet in Web Excel

Support to drag and drop cells in the worksheet

Protect the worksheet you are editing from being manipulated by others

Inserting and modifying Office applications
