When creating a table, hive will specify a delimiter. For example, it is set to tab to separate attribute columns \ n to separate records.
However, if the format of the document we uploaded is not as follows, the record is saved but the query result is indeed a column of null.
The format of the TXT file to be uploaded, but the column spacing is indeed separated by spaces. Therefore, no accurate records can be found.
There are two solutions:
1. When creating a table, set the table according to the file separator and modify the fields and lines delimiters. For example, replace the \ t of the first graph with spaces.
2. Modify the file separator. For example, use tab to separate the data in each column of the second graph.
Suggestion: Change the text separation format because the default delimiter of the Database Text import column is tab.
If you use MySQL to import local files, if the columns are separated by spaces, only the first field can be filled.
The query result of the imported file created in the hive table is null.
