The installation program cannot be run automatically for the wireless network card of the tplink router without a drive. What should I do?

Problem Description

The prompt box for automatic installation is not displayed after the USB interface of the computer is inserted into the wireless network card of our free-drive edition. The driver cannot be installed automatically. This problem occurs generally because the system has not enabled the automatic playback function. There are two solutions:

Solution

Method 1: enable the automatic playback function of the operating system

For Windows 7/8/8.1/10, the automatic playback function is enabled as follows:

Click Start on the computer> Control Panel> automatic playback, select all media and devices to use automatic playback (U), and click save, as shown below:

After completing the preceding operations, you can re-insert the wireless network card to display the automatic playback dialog box.

You can view the automatic playback function in the displayed list.

You can set the automatic playback function for Windows XP as follows:
