Some fonts include ligatures, which are two-character cosmetic links to form a single printed character. If you are using a font that supports hyphenation, you can use ligatures.
Turn on or off hyphenation of selected text
1. Select the text you want to change, or select the text box if you want to change all the text in the text box.
2. In the text panel of the Format checker, click the Style button.
3, in the Font section, click, and then choose an item from the Hyphenation pop-up menu.
Use default value: Applies the hyphenation settings specified in the Layout window for the font you are using.
To open the Layout window, choose Format > Font > Display font (from the Format window at the top of your computer screen).
is not used: hyphens that use normal spacing instead of fonts.
Use all: Use all available ligatures for the font.
To remove the hyphenation from the selected text, choose None from the Hyphenation pop-up menu. "
