How can we effectively implement the modern quality management methods to departments? We should pay attention to the following aspects:

Establish a quality committee led by business directors to promote continuous and In-depth quality improvement work. The product's business features are improved through project initiation. Similarly, quality management can be improved through one quality improvement project. This requires the establishment and review of quality improvement projects, so that key minority projects can be continuously grasped and the quality management level can be continuously improved. Therefore, in the platform department, the focus of Quality committees at all levels is to grasp the top problems found in the Department management, the important problems found in quality backtracking, and customers (including downstream customers) highlight problems in feedback and typical problems reflected in the Quality Improvement Suggestions for all employees, promote the establishment and decision-making of quality improvement projects, and reflect the improvement results to preventive measures, results are reflected in delivery requirements and operational requirements to facilitate effective replication of results within the Department. At the same time, we also need to carry out quality management reviews. The current focus is on the quality objectives, the effectiveness and efficiency of the operation process, the continuous construction of Defect Prevention and corrective measures. In addition, from the perspective of the business department itself, we should promote the continuous development of quality backtracking, expand the scope of quality backtracking, and cover all the important problems reported by downstream links.

 

 

Strengthen the construction and use of the knowledge management system. In the era of knowledge economy, the controlling resources and decisive factors for production are knowledge. As the Team Leader, you should focus on how to form the personal knowledge of a team into the knowledge of an organization. If the requirements, specifications, guidelines, methods, and cases cannot be effectively shared, the result is that everyone in the Organization needs to explore and move forward. We need to do a good job of knowledge management so that a person's mistakes can no longer be reproduced in an organization, so that a person's experience can be effectively replicated in an organization, make good practices in the industry known to everyone in the Organization, so as to improve the ability and competitiveness of the Organization. At present, it is necessary to strengthen the promotion and application of the fault mode information management system.

 

 

Actively and effectively carry out system prevention work. Quality Assurance focuses on prevention rather than post-event repair, just as Fire Protection focuses on prevention rather than fire fighting. It is necessary to add prevention links and necessary prevention costs during the work process to reduce the quality loss cost of the entire process. Mature practices should be standardized, baseline, CBB, and operation requirements and guidelines should be formed to form a checklist. Promote 6 Sigma projects in the engineering field, and strengthen the promotion and use of modern quality engineering methods. In view of the business characteristics of the engineering field, and the quality improvement has reached the 4-5 sigma level, we need to develop at a higher stage and focus on promoting the development of the 6 Sigma project in the product engineering and whole machine engineering fields, including 6 Sigma process improvement DMAIC and Design Improvement DFSs. In the Platform field, the design system methods included in DFSs, such as parameter design, tolerance design, and ITIL, are of some practical value. At the same time, for agile development, continuous integration, daily construction, and other methods, it is necessary to strengthen the promotion and use.

 

 

Strengthen the Construction and Application of quality tools to improve work efficiency and quality. Tool support is an important means to promote the corresponding design tools, implementation tools and testing tools in the main fields of the platform department based on the business characteristics. For example, promotion of UML design tools, automatic inspection of engineering specifications by hardware tools, automatic inspection of programming specifications by programming tools, and automated testing tools. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the optimization of the quality measurement system to ensure that the quality data reflected in each link is accurate and credible, so as to establish quantitative support tools for quality improvement and effect evaluation.

The key element of a product is quality, and the key element of work management is quality management. Modern Quality Management provides a systematic concept and method for this purpose. We need to practice it persistently and gradually optimize and improve it so as to play a positive role in supporting organizations to effectively, efficiently and quickly meet customer requirements.
