I recently bought three books related to data mining: Introduction to data mining (full version), visual data, and business modeling and data mining. They are both professional and translated from English documents, good translation quality. However, they are relatively professional and not practical enough.
Introduction to data mining (full version) is a textbook for foreign universities. Many domestic translators also use it as a textbook. Therefore, this book has many principles. Thorough, full of mathematical symbols and formulas. This section describes three types of data mining: classification, association analysis, and cluster analysis.Algorithm. I found that some data mining parameters are not clear in Microsoft's help documentation. I have read this book clearly. I want to read a book that can guide the actual data mining operations, so the formulas in the book are skipped. I only looked at the various problems solved by algorithms mentioned in the book and their ideas.
Visual Data focuses on the use of the process software. The introduction to this book by online bookstores mentions this issue. If you are not interested in this software, you do not need to buy it. I did not notice the introduction on the webpage when I bought it. I found it only when I checked it. The book is full of ProcessCode. There is no plan to learn and use process, so we will roughly flip it over and look at the problems solved by process and their ideas.
Business Modeling and data mining was published in. Volume 1 and volume 2 of the data model Resource Manual are the Database Technology series of the Mechanical Industry Press. The latter has long been sold out, and this book is still available. It seems that it is still relatively uncommon. Translation is also professional. It is also academic. However, as a professional book, there are few formulas and charts. If you want to study specific data mining algorithms, see Introduction to data mining (full version).
