To save money on the phone, some large companies, such as Microsoft, have begun to use network phones based on lync servers. with lync phone, you can call any phone number on an Internet-connected computer using the lync client.
The client with lync phone enabled looks like this.
To make a call, you only need to click that button. After calling out the following interface, dial up and click the call button. This is very convenient.
However, there is a problem with the phone number on the computer, that is, unless you use a speaker, if you use an oc-specific headset, other people may not be able to hear the bell.
If you have a traditional phone number on your desk, you can use the simultaneously ring function of the lync phone to enable both the landline and lync phone.
The setting method is as follows.
Click the phone number and the plus sign at the bottom of the window, and select simultaneously ring-> new number...
In the pop-up dialog box, enter your landline number.
