Total number of data domain names dropped to 228,000 in China: February net minus 4,959

IDC Commentary Network (idcps.com) March 18: According to the latest data from Webhosting.info, as of March 02, 2015, the total number of Chinese data domain names dropped to 228,949. During the February (2015-02-03 to 2015-03-02), the spin-down was relatively stable in the first three weeks, while the last week was significantly reduced by a total of 4,959. Affected by this, the domestic share fell to 2.4488%.

Looking at Figure 2 data, we know that in February, the total number of data domain names in China reduced from 233,908 to 228,949. A closer look at the weekly drop, learned that: in the first three weeks, the slow down basically similar, respectively, 1,532, 1,425, 1,480, and the last week, the decline narrowed to 522, the slump significantly slowed down.
