It can be explained that Japanese cars are of much better quality than Chinese brands, and they are indeed much cheaper than German cars. Therefore, many Chinese people are tempted to buy Japanese things.
I honestly said my attitude towards Japan:

Therefore, I do my best not to buy Japanese products, and persuade my friends and colleagues not to buy Japanese products.
