◆ STUN Technology

This hot-spot routing technology is also called the serial tunneling technology. It is a way to transmit data between networks by using the Internet infrastructure. The data (or load) transmitted by tunnel can be the data volume (which is incorrect) or package of different protocols. The tunnel protocol re-encapsulates the data packages or packages of these other protocols in the new header for sending. The new header provides routing information so that encapsulated load data can be transmitted through the interconnected network.

The encapsulated data packets are routed between the two endpoints of the tunnel through the public network. The logical path of the encapsulated data packet transmitted over the public network is called a tunnel. Once the network endpoint is reached, the data will be unwrapped and forwarded to the final destination. Note: tunneling refers to the entire process, including data encapsulation, transmission, and settlement.

◆ QoS Technology

The Chinese meaning of QoS technology is service quality technology. Currently, QoS on routers can be implemented in the following ways: high bandwidth assurance, reserved bandwidth implementation, access control, congestion control, service differentiation, MPLS traffic engineering, etc. The preceding hot routing technologies have their own advantages and disadvantages and can be used in combination.

◆ IPv6 technology

This hot routing technology not only effectively solves the Internet address crisis, but also greatly improves Internet network performance. QoS is supported in IPv6. Two important parameters are defined in the IPv6 group header: Business Category field and Flow Label field. The Service Category field divides the IP Group priority into 16 levels. For services that require special QoS, you can set the corresponding priority in the IP packet. The router processes the data separately based on the IP packet priority. The data stream flag is used to define any transmitted data stream so that all nodes in the network can identify the data and perform special processing.

◆ CIP Technology

Channel Interface Processor is a Channel Interface processing technology, which is usually used in CISCO Series routers, it can be directly connected to the system host to provide multi-protocol inter-network access for the System host.

◆ VoIP technology

This hot-spot routing technology is a grouping and digital transmission technology based on IP technology. It compresses and encodes speech data through a speech compression algorithm, then, package the voice data by IP address and other related protocols, transmit the data packets to the receiving location through the IP network, and then concatenate the voice data packets. After decoding and decompression, the original voice signal is restored to achieve the purpose of transmitting voice over an IP network. The IP telephone system converts analog signals of ordinary phones into IP data packets sent by computers over the Internet, and also converts received IP data packets into analog electrical signals of sound.

◆ DLSw Technology

This hotspot routing technology can package SNA software packages in IP Mode and then transmit them from the IP network to any vro node on the IP network, the SNA node (such as RS6000) that transmits SNA data packets to the SDLC interface device or the Ethernet interface (or token ring) interface device through the router serial port ).

◆ MPLS Technology

This hotspot routing technology can be used to mark the exchange path (LSP ). LSP is similar to the PVC of ATM and frame relay. An LSP can pass through one or more LSP nodes, and a labeled router (LSR) in the ISP network can forward data packets to another LSR through LSP. After the edge LSR receives the IP packet, it adds an MPLS header to forward the packet along the LSP to another LSR.

After the LSR receives the packet, it still forwards the packet based on the IP end address L3 information, except the MPLS header. Because ASIC hardware is used, the forwarding speed can be as fast as that of the PVC of the ATM. In this way, LSP can be used to conveniently monitor the traffic of each LSP, just like that of the ATM network. By setting a new LSP, you can also control and balance the traffic of the entire network, and conveniently set the backup ISP to ensure good fault recovery capabilities.

◆ PPPoE Technology

The PPPOE hotspot routing technology is fully known as PPP over Ethernet. It uses the point-to-point technology of Ethernet to solve the authentication and billing problems for Ethernet Access Users. Similar to the PPP over ATM protocol, a router device using this protocol can terminate the access service.
