With NetMeeting, you can participate in online meetings or discussions, work in shared programs, share data on the Internet or corporate Intranet, share your desktop, and transfer files. Of course, you can also use audio, video, chat (text), and whiteboard to communicate with others.
Enable NetMeeting
By default, NetMeeting cannot be enabled from the Program menu and can be started from the command line. The method is as follows:
Click Start, select Run, type "conf" in the dialog box, and make sure you can start the NetMeeting Configuration Wizard and follow the wizard prompts.
Using NetMeeting
When the wizard is finished, you can use NetMeeting. Enter the IP address or computer name of the other computer in the Address bar, click the Call button, and the caller can begin the communication after receiving the call
Chair the meeting
Click the Call menu in NetMeeting and select the host meeting command to set up the meeting in the following dialog box.
