Use Wireshark filter to analyze ospf ls Type

I really can't stand a CCIE teacher clicking the Wireshark packet capture item one by one to see the LS Type.

You can skip this step when you see it. It is better to see my packet capture items. The teacher is a second knife.

Build a topology at will. In order to obtain most of the LS types, re-distribute an OSPF to OSPF.

The route table on R3 after full convergence

You can use Wireshark to capture packets at the f0/0 port on R3. You can download the files you have already prepared.

B. Message Type (ospf. msg =)

1: Hello Packet

2: DB Description

3: LS Request

4: LS Update

5: LS Acknowledge

C. Link-State Advertisement Type (ospf. lsa =)

1: Router LSA

2: Network LSA

3: Summary LSA (IP Network)

4: Summary LSA (ASBR)

5: AS-External LSA (ASBR)

7: nssa as-External LSA

8: External Attributes LSA

Example:

1. view the Router LSA entries in LSU

Ospf. lsa = 1 and ospf. msg = 4

2. view the Summary LSA entries in LSU.

Ospf. lsa. summary and ospf. msg. lsupdate

Other content can be freely combined. Do not use Wireshark if you do not use a filter.
