Use zotero to manage network data
Every day, I access the Internet to check information and documents. If I see any useful information, I hope to save it for future reference. Although many blogs and websites now provide users with the function of saving documents in their space, they are generally only limited to documents on their own websites, and their types are also limited, for example, common formats such as PDF files are hard to save and use. On the other hand, it is not easy to manage if it is only saved to different folders on the local machine, but also a lot of related information about the file, such as the original URL, cannot be saved together.
Zotero, as a plug-in Firefox, can store, manage, record related information, add annotations, and perform quick search. It can effectively solve the problems existing in the above methods. In addition, because it is used with Firefox, it is almost a matter of two clicks to save data when browsing the Web page. You do not need to switch the window or consider the name of the stored file, you don't even need to set the location of the file to be saved each time, you can save the required materials in different categories locally.
To use zotero, you must use Firefox as your browser. After all, this is a Firefox plug-in.
Then you can download and install zotero from here. After restarting Firefox, an icon will be added to the status bar of the window.

To classify the downloaded documents, add Multiple folders in zotero for management. In addition, zotero allows adding data entries to the database from a local file with almost no restrictions on the file format, you can use zotero to manage all your previous, current, and future materials.
More importantly, zotero provides a plug-in for MS Word, which is used to add reference documents to the article and automatically arranges the documents according to the reference sequence, in addition, it is automatically adjusted as reference documents are added. In my personal sense, the former is more concise and convenient than zotero's much larger endnotes. Besides, zotero is still a free software, so there will be no copyright issues in use. J
