Use Photoshop to create transparent glass buttons

Final

The procedure is as follows:

1. create a new file 120x80 in photoshop5.5 (or later), set it to transparent (transparent), set layer1 to white, add a layer, and create a 40x40 circle, fill the color in the center of the page #003366, and split it from the center. Each side is 20 pixels, the left half circle is 30 pixels to the left, and the right half circle is 30 pixels to the right. The result is 01.

2. Select the space in two semi-circles, fill color #003366 result 02.

3. select select/loadselection, OK, select/modify/contract, enter "5" on the panel, select/feather, enter "8" on the panel, and add a layer, fill color in this layer #66 CCFF. After the selection is canceled, use the command Layer/group with previous to apply this layer to the pixel section on the following layer, then move the layer down to 10 pixels, and result 03 is displayed.

4. On the filling color #003366 long circular image layer, select the area 04 from the 120*15 selection box and select the Copy command.

5. Add a layer on the top of the image, select the paste command, paste the copied image to the position shown in Figure 05, and then use the area selected in the selection box.

6. move 5 pixels to the right, and then deselect the selected state in the same step. Then, move the image three pixels down to make it clear, I filled this part with white, and result 06.

7. select/load selection, jump to the next layer, and use the gradient tool linear gradienttool. Select foregrend totransparent from options. The foreground color is white, in the selected area, perform the gradient effect from top to bottom. Result 07.

8. In the end, write the text you want. Remember to add a shadow instead of too deep, because the text on the transparent glass will emit a light shadow inside the glass. Figure 08 also has some reflection effects to make the image more expressive.
