Woke up this morning to the Photoshop tutorial with a new idea for thinking, and then I remember last week I saw a good text effect like a bread cookie with text effects if I didn't make any mistakes. So I think it will be a good build, cookies are just using PS image processing software to create text effects.
In this tutorial, I'll show you how to create a good text effect, using the cookie's layer texture and layer style. The technology is super simple and the whole process will not be more than 30 minutes.
Let's take a look at the final effect.
Open the PS image processing software to create a new document. I use the 2560x1440 pixel size, double click on the background layer to unlock it to edit, then click
Layer > Layer style > Gradient overlay . With the
#fdebc2 and
#f7efe0 colors, the radial gradient of the style and the determined center is lighter than the edge color.
Add the text you want, I hit ABDZ using
Cooper Std Black font because it's round and bold enough to make them look like their cookies.
Now let's use some real cookie textures. I use photos from the picture material library, you can find one I used in http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-74918797/stock-photo-three-peanut-butter ... characters on the cookies and groups, They will be in a folder.
Click Create a text box and select
Command (MAC)/control (PC) in the layer thumbnail. Then select the Texture folder, click
Layer > Layer Mask > Display selection.
Select the Mask layer and click on the
filters > Brushes > Spray strokes. Use the following reference value.
Or with mask selection, click
Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur. use
a radius of 2 pixels. tip: This value may vary depending on the font and font size you are using.
or select the layer mask, click
Image > Adjust > Level. the change was
100, 1 and. The idea here is to remove the blurred edges by removing the gray fixes. So we first make the edges irregular but too much, and then use the blur we soften, but they get blurry, so our level is clear.
Here is the final result of the masking process. About masking folders The cool thing is that you still have to play inside the layers of freedom.
Create a layer mask with a variety of irregular edges, and then add a new layer selection. This layer fills any color and then clicks the
layer > Layer style > Blending options . Change
the fill opacity to 0%.
Select the inner shadow, using the following values.
Select the inner glow and use the following values again.
Last but not least the shadow of the choice. For blending mode use color depth, refer to the image below.
This is the end result of the layer style layer with the cookie texture folder above.
Disable the shadow, and then select the layer style and Texture folder layer. Then repeat them and merge them into the new layer. Change the
blending mode to
cover the new layer and then.
As you can see it's easy to create text with cookie bread textures, it's all about playing masks and layer styles.
You can add more text and rotate some of the features to make it look more authentic. Also note that the layer style value is smaller than the text below, I typed the letter. The coolest thing about the technology is that you can apply a variety of textures.
