This article describes how to skillfully use the combination of PowerPoint2010 and animation brushes, in a short period of time to quickly produce a large number of content basically repeated PPT presentation documents.

End of year, in order to the company employees and leaders at all levels of the year-end report, the total need for a variety of reports, charts, tabular data production into a synchronized slide presentation to enhance the reporting effect. Usually this kind of summary demo has a lot of the same or similar content, format or animation requirements, so it's always a lot of time to repeat the same operation when making. Is there any way to reduce repetitive operations so that we can finish the presentation more quickly? There are several ways to effectively reduce repetitive operations in PPT 2010.

One, reuse the same slide

With PPT2010 Open, on the Start tab, click the drop-down arrow for new slide, and selecting the bottom reuse slide item in the Drop-down list displays the reuse Slides pane on the right. Click the Browse button in the pane to select Browse for file, and in the pop-up window, select Open the presentation document you want to use, and all slides in the document will be displayed in thumbnails in the Reuse Slides pane (Figure 1). The slide you point to is automatically enlarged, and you click the slide you want to insert directly behind the current slide. It's a simple operation, isn't it?

If you want to reuse the slides in the current document, you can do so by copying the slides. Switch to the desired slide press ctrl+shift+d shortcut to copy the previous slide to another one, and then drag it to the position you want in the slide list on the left. In addition, you can drag the slides in the left slide list directly to the desired position, hold down the CTRL key and then release the left mouse button to copy the slide to the specified location.

Two, multiple demo combined production

Usually the year-end presentation report will not be just one, we need to produce multiple demos for different meetings, different audiences. For this we can focus on one demo document for each of the slides.

1. Define Show mode

Open PPT2010 First, make a total presentation that contains all the slides. Switch to the Slide Show tab, click Custom Slide show to select Custom Show, and click the New button in the Custom Show window.

The slides in the current document appear in the list on the left side of the Define custom show window, and you simply double-click the slides you want in the order of play to add them to the right "slides in the custom Show" list, which is the sequence of slides we want to play. Enter the slide show name as the staff meeting demo, and click OK to save the customized show to the Custom Show window list.

Also create a "board presentation", "Financial annual presentation", "Corporate reporting demo" and other screening programs. If you are not satisfied with the saved show, select the show in the Custom Show window and click the Edit button to modify it. Finally, close the Custom show window and name the save total presentation document.

2. Show by custom scheme

To show the presentation, just open the total presentation, switch to the Slide Show tab, and click Custom Slide show to see a custom show in the Drop-down list, a presentation of the employee's meeting, a presentation of the board, a demonstration of the financial annual meeting, presentation of the corporate report (Figure 2), Select a scheme as needed to show the slides in a set order. In addition, selecting custom show in the show also displays a custom show scheme from which you can choose to show other scenarios.

This centralizes multiple demos in the same document, and is easy to save and manage. And as long as you change a slide, the content of the slide in all the shows will change at the same time, if you want to change the slide can be a lot of trouble.

Three, animation brush easy repeat animation settings

There will always be many objects in the demo document that need to be set to the same animation, and in practice we have to repeat the same animation settings a lot. The new animation brush in PPT2010 can copy the animated settings of the selected object to any number of objects.

In PPT2010, we just first select the object that has been set up, for example: Revenue curve, on the Animation tab, in the Advanced animation area, double-click the animation brush to make it selected, and the brush appears after the mouse cursor. Now click the object you want to set, for example: the debt rate curve (Figure 3) allows the debt rate curve to have exactly the same animation effect as the revenue curve. Click to brush an object, there will be a period of time preview, while the mouse after no brush but the animation is still valid, we do not have to wait for the preview to continue to click the next object. After all the brush, double-click in the blank of the page or click the animation brush to stop the animation brush function.

Note: Some animated items are only valid for text boxes, for example: wavy, bold, font color, and so on, which automatically disappears when you brush from a text box object to a Picture object. In addition, the animated brush's original animation settings are also eliminated when the animation is brushed onto an object.
