We will tell you how to make a high dynamic range Black-and-white image with rich darkened, midtones, and high light details.
An excellent high dynamic range (HDR) image Works can make people stop and enjoy the pace of the hurry. This can be done using the merge to HDR commands in Photoshop. We use a number of different exposures through the digital darkroom, and the resulting photos contain rich details from the darkest to brightest, and the high dynamic range effect is completely impossible to capture with the camera. Shooting is the first step, we took five to nine pictures, each photo exposure is different. It can be done by using the camera's exposure compensation function, or by manually adjusting the aperture or shutter settings.
When we come home with these different exposures, we can easily blend them together with the "Merge to HDR" command. After you perform the merge operation, use Photoshop to complete the remaining adjustments.

Operation Steps:
1 Performing an HDR merge
Open five files in Photoshop, select File > Auto > Merge to HDR, click the Add Open File button, and make sure. After some calculation, we go into the Merge to HDR dialog box. First, set the Saturation slider to 100.
2 Choice Sky
Now we have a black-and-white version of a high dynamic range image. Click OK to return to the main Photoshop interface, select the Magic Wand tool from the toolbar, click to select the sky, and hold down the SHIFT key to add the missing area.
3 Enhanced Sky Contrast
To avoid a bright edge on the selection edge, first click the Adjust Edge button, set the feather to 1 pixels, move the edge to 2%, and click OK. Next we open the Color Level dialog box, set the shadow to 134, enhance the contrast, and then use the shortcut key Ctrl + D to cancel the selection.
4 Enhanced HDR Effect
Select Image > Adjust > Shadow/Highlight on the toolbar, turn on show more options, set the shadow number to 25, set the highlight number to 45, set the midtones contrast to 60%, and click OK to see how the changes are visible.
5 Add Details
Select the Burn tool from the tool panel, set the range to shadow, and set the exposure to 5%, selecting areas with no white clouds covering the dark sky. Also can crush the rest of the screen, improve the overall contrast, highlighting the details of the screen, and then select the Dodge Tool.
6 Bright High Light
Set the range to high light, and the exposure is set to 5%. Use a brush to highlight the details of the building, the foreground gravel road and weeds. Finally, open the Color Order dialog box again, set the shadow to 14, the midtones set to 1.09, and the high light to 244, and click OK to end the adjustment.
Tips:
Pre-filming should be noted: the most important thing in the filming process is to use a tripod. The tripod can control the screen difference between multiple shots to a minimum, ensuring that the post-processing is aligned and no Phantom is present.
Use a photo to synthesize the HDR effect: if necessary, we can also use a single file to get the HDR effect. Simply open the file with Adobe Camera Raw, adjust the exposure to a fixed increment from 4 to +4, save it as a different exposure JPEG file, and then open using the merge to HDR command.
