Using the easy connect naming method simple connection test, connectnaming
I have never understood what NAMES. DIRECTORY_PATH = (TNSNAMES, EZCONNECT) in sqlnet. ora means. Today I see a document about how to log on to and perform a test:
Tnsnames. ora
10.10.32.119 =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = 10.10.32.119) (PORT = 1521 ))
)
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SERVICE_NAME = orcl11g)
)
)
Sqlnet. ora
NAMES. DIRECTORY_PATH = (TNSNAMES)
