In a test of the bank user POWERHA for I environment, we noticed an interesting phenomenon that we used to use the green screen to do regular operations. At the same time, there are always customers asking if there is a more intuitive way to build and manage the POWERHA environment. Today we are going to introduce you to the Web application of Powerha for I.
Enter the POWERHA management interface
Starting with the 7.1 release, the PowerHA for I development team focused a bit on consolidating the High-availability management interface. The new interface makes it easier and more intuitive for users to manage their day jobs. With the new interface, users can view the status of the overall POWERHA environment and can get specific information hierarchically for a problem. At the same time, users can manage the entire cluster environment through this interface to cope with planned and unplanned switching.
PowerHA for I The new web interface is based on IBM Navigator for I, and users need to log in through http://<system_name>:2001 and find links to PowerHA management through their tree structure, as shown in Figure 1.

Advantages of Powerha Graphical interface
Here are a few simple examples to illustrate the advantages of the Powerha graphical interface.
No use of command
All the steps are facilitated by the mouse click and the Operation Wizard. For example, we can create clusters directly from the wizards on the Admin interface, as shown in Figure 2 and Figure 3.
