Installing CentOS 64-bit
1. Recommended configuration
Memory 2G
Hard disk 50G, or a separate disk to store virtual machine files
The most critical step, when creating a virtual machine, the CPU needs to configure the virtualization
2. Pre-install KVM preparations
Clear Iptables Rule
Iptables-f;service iptables Save
Turn off SELinux
0; vi/etc/selinux/config
Selinux=disabled
Check to see if your system supports virtualization, and if the output content is supported
' VMX|SVM '
3. Install the virtualized package via Yum
Yum install-y KVM virt-* libvirt bridge-utils qemu-img
Description
KVM: The package contains a KVM kernel module that provides the KVM hypervisor in the default Linux kernel
Libvirts: Install the Virtual Machine Management tool and use commands such as Virsh to manage and control the virtual machine.
Bridge-utils: Set up network card bridging.
virt-*: Create, clone virtual machine commands, and graphical management tools Virt-manager
QEMU-IMG: Installs the QEMU component, uses the QEMU command to create the disk, and so on.
Check that the KVM module is loaded, feedback content, and that the KVM module is loaded.
Lsmod |grep--color KVM
The normal should be:
Kvm_intel 55496 3
KVM 337772 1 Kvm_intel
If not, you need to perform
Modprobe Kvm-intel
Try it again without restarting it.
4. Configure the NIC
cd/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/
CP Ifcfg-eth0 IFCFG-BR0
VI Ifcfg-eth0
