What do I do with iPad/itouch?

I bought an iPad and found an embarrassing thing: I tried to think about it, but I still don't know what to do with it.

// Unified view:

So I searched for "What Is iPad" online and got these webpages:

To sum up, we will talk about these applications:

1. e-book functions-ibooks reading is widely reflected

2. access the Internet through Safari

3. GPS-if the iPad can connect to the Internet at any time, you can use Google map to find the path

4. Game Functions

5. watch videos

6. Connect to the Bluetooth keyboard and use it as a general office software: pages, numbers, keynote.

Moreover, according to an (unknown source) survey, over 60% of tablet users spend more than an hour on the tablet every day.

Then I wondered: Is it so interesting? Currently, tablet computers without a keyboard (a model of most tablet computers) can interact smoothly with users in only one way. This is fine when you browse the Web page, but typing is very painful if intensively input is involved.

In terms of identity, iPad is more of a source for obtaining content than an information input.

// My actual use

For me, the iPad is:

1. e-book reader. Including textbooks, novels, and school handouts downloaded from the Internet.

2. video watching devices-mainly used to watch the content on iTunes: ituneu has a good lecture, and some podcast video content can be viewed on iPad; if it is audio content, in itouch, I played the video when I walked normally.

3. SNS reading device-it is appreciated that Twitter and everyone are well optimized on the iPad. At the same time, I felt like I was not as addicted to iPad/itouch as I was on my computer. The current method is to take a look at the new things before going to bed every night, and never open everyone at other times (otherwise it would be too time-consuming ).

4. A small game device-if I do not play games, it is estimated that half of the apps on the iPad have nothing to do with me. But I really don't play games (because it's too easy to get confused, so I just don't want to play ). I recently studied go and used apps on iPad to train my hands.

// Use itouch

Compared with iPad, itouch is more common for me (except reading) because it is easier to carry.

1. Audio Player: the rich podcast resources on iTunes, which is my favorite reason for itouch.

2. Sort tasks: Use wunderlist to synchronize your to-do list. You can find out what needs to be done and what has not been done.

3. Time sorting: this is why I first purchased itouch-find an electronic device that can be carried with me to record my time consumption. When recording the time spent, your time is very efficient.

4. Reading Device: some good books have been made into apps, and reading experience with itouch is still good (but it is better to read PDF books on iPad)

// Summary

Aside from the game, I think the itouch/iPad app is mainly an Information Acquisition terminal. Currently, the developing and stable iTunes platform forms a virtuous circle of information. The above app also needs to think about and improve from the Information Acquisition layer and presentation layer-how to better obtain information, summarize and present it to users.

However, for information input, the iPad/itouch still requires more efficient information input methods (for example, Samsung will produce a 10-inch Galaxy Note, which supports the handwriting function, this is a better UI method ).
