1. Open Display Properties
Move the mouse over the blank space on the desktop, right-click, and in the pop-up right-click menu, select Properties.
2 Change resolution
In the Display Properties window that pops up, select the Settings tab. Now the screen resolution is 800x600, if you want to make the screen area open, drag the slider to the right until "1024x768 pixels" appear. When you are done, click OK to save your settings. The screen becomes wider and the icons on the desktop look a lot smaller.
Set screen resolution
The computer's screen resolution and color quality can not be set casually, it has a great relationship with the hardware configuration of the computer. In general, the current computer resolution is set to 1024x768, the number of colors set to "maximum (32-bit)."
The best resolution reference value for most liquid crystal displays at present:
19-inch is generally: 1440x900
20-inch is generally: 16:10 of the 1680x1050,16:9 is 1600x900
21.5-inch is generally: 16:10 of the 1680x1050,16:9 is 1920x1080
22-inch is generally: 16:10 of the 1680x1050,16:9 is 1920x1080
