The next new version of the Microsoft Office suite, Office 2016, will be officially released with WINDOWS10 in the second half of the year. In the new office, Microsoft has increased its focus on mobile and Web pages, and of course the addition of new features is essential.
Third-party application support
With the new Office graph social function, developers can connect their applications directly to office data, so that office suites can access third-party data via Plug-ins. For example, users can use Uber to call a car through Outlook Hitachi, or to import and purchase photos from Pichit in PowerPoint.
Colorful new Theme
From a previously leaked screenshot, the Office 2016 theme will be updated and more colorful choices will be added. It is said that the new interface design, called colorful, is similar in style to the modern application, while the previous default theme is white. Users can choose their preferred theme styles in File > account >office topics.
Cross-platform Universal applications
After new versions of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote are released, users get a very similar experience between different platforms and devices, whether they're using an Android phone/tablet, IPad, IPhone, Windows Notebooks/Desktops.
Clippy Assistant back--but it's not that annoying.
The former Clippy assistants are very cute, but sometimes they are annoying. In office 2016, Microsoft will bring Clippy's upgraded version of--tell Me. Tell me is a new Office Assistant that provides help when users use Office, such as adding pictures to documents or troubleshooting other problems. This feature does not have a virtual image and will only be placed on the surface of the document as a traditional search bar.
Insights Engine
The new insights engine has the power to bring online resources to office, allowing users to use online pictures or text definitions directly in Word documents. When you select a word, more information will appear in the sidebar.
