When pl/SQL developer is enabled, the NLS_LANG and Character set (Character set) problems occur. plnls_lang
Start pl/SQL developer and the NLS_LANG and Character set (Character set) problems occur. The company recently trained pl/SQL. After installation, I started it and encountered problems.
PS: my operating system is in English. This is because the system does not set the NLS_LANG system variable. There are two ways to view. 1. View computer properties.
2. view the command line.
PS: I have already set it here, so I just want to give a gesture. If any problem occurs, the character set of the client is different from that of the Oracle database.
How to view the character set of a database:
The target pl/SQL statement is:
Select * from V $ NLS_PARAMETERS where PARAMETER = 'nls _ CHARACTERSET '; Select USERENV ('language') from DUAL;
Change the value of NLS_LANG to the SIMPLIFIED CHINESE_CHINA.UTF8 value. PS: Let's take a look at the meaning of character sets. Take SIMPLIFIED CHINESE_CHINA.UTF8 as an example.
- Simplified chinese is a language (simplified chinese );
- CHINA is the country (CHINA );
- UTF8 is character encoding;
