The battery charge times are 300 or more. In the case of incomplete charging, for example, if half of the power is used after the meeting, the power will be automatically charged after the external power supply is connected, these incomplete charging has little impact on the life of the battery, but long-term accumulation will also reduce the performance of the battery. It is recommended that the battery be fully used before charging.
Now the E-Series notebook has added the charging control function, which effectively helps you control whether the battery is charged. When you do not want the battery to be charged, you can use the keyboard combination key to quickly and conveniently control: FN + F2. After installing DCP: Power Manager-Dell ControlPoint System Manager A05, you can choose "disable battery charging" on the Power Manager page of DCP to effectively prevent battery overcharging.
Note:
If Fn + F2 is used, or the battery is disabled in the BIOS, if the system is turned off and the external power is not removed, this setting will remain in the disabled charging status set before the last shutdown. However, if the external power is turned off, the system will return to the automatic charging status when the external power is connected again next time. To disable charging, you still need to manually press Fn + F2 to change the charging status.
