We need mathematics to find new ways to overcome difficult diseases and new ideas for designing industrial machines and small inventions that save household work.

And we need them more and more for the ordinary things of everyday life.
We also need more and more mathematics to get common things in daily life.

  
2. It takes special training to be a good carpenter, or plumber, or car mechanic.
To become a good woodworking, pipe mechanic, or car mechanic, you need to be specially trained.

Jobs in electronics require even greater skills.
More skills are required for electronic technology work.

We used to think a radio repairman had to have a pretty thorough kind of training.

These people are curious about things.

13. If you're that kind of person, you almost have to learn something about the more advanced branches of math.
If you are such a person, you must always learn more advanced mathematical branches.

There will be no other way to understand the things you become curious about.
