Microsoft officially started pushing Win10 preview 10061 to Windows Insider users on April 23, 2015, and 10049-version friends can upgrade to the 10061 version in the following two ways:
• Detected 10061 in "Settings"-"Update and Restore"-"Windows Update", complete updates online;
• Download 10061 ISO image, open the mirror and click Setup.exe Follow the prompts to complete the update;
A friend with the WINDOWS10 10056 version is not able to detect version 10061 in Windows Update. However, you can choose to download the 10061 ISO image to upgrade to the latest version. If you still want to upgrade online through Windows Update, you can do this in the following ways:
1. Press Win+r to open the run, input regedit, enter the Registry Editor;
2. Navigate to Hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windowsselfhost\applicability;
3. Modify the Branchname value to fbl_impressive;
4. Modify the Thresholdrisklevel value to low;
5. Change the ring value to wif;
6. Revise the Thresholdoptedin value to 00000001;
7. Revise the thersholdinternal value to 0;
When you are done, open the command prompt as an administrator and run the following command in turn:
net stop Wuauserv
net stop bits
net start bits
net start wuauserv
After you have done this, restart your computer. Open the Windows Update Check update and you will find that build 10061 is already in the list of updates.
