Recently, however, there are Win7 system users who are sometimes unable to find the network item on the desktop, or open the network but cannot view the workgroup computer. How can this be solved? How to find the Network icon:
1. Right-click "desktop" → "Personalized" → "Change desktop Icon".
2. In the pop-up dialog box, put the "network" before the boxes are checked. A "network" icon is added to the desktop.
How to find the Network icon two:
1. Open "Computer", in the lower left corner of the interface, there is a "network" icon.
2. After you find the network icon, double-click to enter the Network dialog box, if it is the first time you open the network icon, this will pop up a hint-the following figure.
3. Click this prompt, select "Enable Network Discovery and file sharing" → Select the following option "is, ..." → You can see the computer in the network.
4. Do not click "Enable Network Discovery and file sharing", click the following "Open Network and Sharing Center" → In the pop-up dialog box select "Change advanced sharing settings" → "Enable network discovery" can also see the computer in the network.
5. The above approach is to view computers on the network by enabling network discovery in the public network.
Viewing computers on your network by visiting a workgroup
1. Open "Network and Sharing Center" click "Public Network" → Select "Work network" in the pop-up window.
2. Then select "View computers and devices on the network" in the pop-up dialog box to view the computers in your workgroup.
