First, equipment management
In Windows7, you can easily use printers, cameras, mobile phones, music players, and other devices with the following new features: Device Stage and the Devices and Printers folder.
Device Stage
Think of Device Stage as the homepage of your hardware: When you insert a device into your computer, you will see a menu that includes tasks that you can perform on that particular type of device. For example, if you insert a multifunction printer, you will see some options for printing and scanning. In previous versions of Windows, these options were usually located in different menus.
The new features are more perfect. The manufacturer can customize the Device Stage, so for many devices, you will see status information and menu options tailored to the specific device model you are using, including a device photo.
Devices and Printers
The new Devices and Printers folder shows you all the devices attached to your computer, which allows you to easily check for devices such as printers, music players, cameras, mice, or digital photo frames (only some of the devices are listed, excluding all).
Here, you can also add new networking or wireless devices and troubleshoot device or printer problems.
Second, Operation Center
Need more control over pop-up messages? By using the Operations center, you can determine which Windows7 alerts need to be viewed and which do not need to be viewed.
The operations center merges alerts based on key Windows maintenance and security features, including Windows Error Reporting, Windows Defender, and user Account Control. If Windows requires your attention, the Action Center icon will be displayed in the taskbar for a genuine XP system download. Click the icon, and you will see alerts about any issues and suggested solutions. You can fine-tune your selections in the Control Panel.
